AutoGuide Checks Out the Sporty Side of the Accord: the Honda Accord Coupe

May 29th, 2016 by

It’s a breed bordering on extinction – the front-wheel drive, V6-powered, sedan-based coupe. There’s still at least one around, though, and the 2016 Honda Accord Coupe is a very good one. AutoGuide recently took a seat behind the wheel. Click “play” in the video clip below to watch the full report.

It’s important to understand going in that while this car is sporty, a coupe version of the Accord is not a “sports car.” Rather, it’s a fun take on the one of the most popular midsize sedans in the world. The steering has a little more weight, the suspension feels a little tighter and the throttle is more responsive. The engine is 3.6-liter V6 that generates 278 horsepower and 252 pound-feet of torque, and it’s paired with a six-speed non-CVT automatic which helps the car feel more responsive.

If you’re normally an Accord-type of person but like to occasionally get loose and let your hair down, consider switching over to the 2016 Honda Accord Coupe. It’s a fun ride that lets you retain some feeling of control. Our sales team at Mungenast is available to answer any questions you might have about the Coupe or any other Honda in our inventory.
