Honda Clarity Invokes the Future In Every Way

October 29th, 2015 by

If there’s one thing that Honda has been passionate about for nearly as long as they’ve made cars is hydrogen fuel cell technology. For thirty years, the Japanese brand has researched ways to bring it into the mainstream, as shown by the launch of the FCX Clarity back in 2008. Now, its introducing the next-gen of the tech.

At this year’s Tokyo Motor Show, Honda took the wraps off the new Clarity–a futuristic-looking and utterly handsome car. Beneath all that space-age sheet metal is the latest version of Honda’s fuel cell stack. In this iteration, it produces 175 horsepower, and propels the car for 300 miles on a single fill-up.

The new Clarity arrives in Californian dealerships this spring. Its release elsewhere is contingent on more charging stations coming into operation, which are still a few years out.

Of course, that doesn’t mean our Honda dealer in St. Louis, MO doesn’t have other vehicles that you can get behind! Contact us today to learn more.
